Here is "Alive", a creation from my Trees of Life collection which, more than ever, symbolizes vitality and self-expression in a vibrant and joyful way. Composed in the heart of winter, this painting must have been eager for spring to arrive ;-) I always enjoy painting the symbolism of the tree, which for me represents life, expansion, the balance between our earth-sky polarities, our roots which plunge into the earth and which soar towards the sky.

I always let myself be guided intuitively by following the current of my inner world and the call of colors... always so shimmering. This work also reminds me that it is everyone's responsibility to create their own universe. That summer can invite itself in the middle of winter... that the joy and movement of life can also invite itself into periods of life that are perhaps more difficult or more secluded. Our inner world is truly the only one that has the power to brighten our lives...
